Girls Movement, IBELEIVE ETC.....

Girls Movement has been doing quite well - I've started working with a group of seven girls aged 6-10, with more on the horizon. I've connected them to the orphanage mitu is working with in India - and am getting them to be comfortable expressing themselves. Its such a shame that at this age they're already insecure about the way they look, and doubt that what they say is worth listening to.

I also found it highly amusing that one of them thinks that the definition of beauty is being a grown-up - when you're a grown up - you're pretty. I guess we never appreciate the way we are at any given moment huh?

They've taken pics with the dig-video cam, and recorded their voices - they've created bead necklaces, and are now keeping journals - they want to learn african, indian and any other dances they can learn - and perform in honor of womens rights and abuse here in WV.

IBELEIVE is doing alright at the moment, we've received a lot of interviews back - are still working on the database we've got the structure and function architecture nailed. We're currently working on the design and creating the database.

My school is having a Graphic Design show this spring - so I need to design the site, and get the students to turn in their portfolios - plus I'm designing a site for my professor who's an AMAZING artist. He's won numerous awards for his ads. his most popular one being the American Express Ads. He's an inspiration :)Did I mention his paintings!!!!

What else is in the works - oh yes I'm re-designing Walfam - a webdesign site and working on a site that will help people from third world countries sell their arts and crafts online.

Spring break is over - school resumes on Monday so I need to start my homework!!

Take it easy people:)
